I purchased this item a month ago but I wanted to wait until after my trip to give this product a proper review.
I want to say a huge thank you to Carmen and for Arden Cove’s customer service! I purchased the Chrissy Mini Crossbody with Locking Clasps Strap for my upcoming trip to China. After approx. a week with no updates about my shipping/tracking, I emailed customer service to enquire if my parcel had left or if they knew of my parcels current whereabouts. I received a quick response from Carmen advising me that it appeared that USPS never did the initial scan and that my parcel may have been lost during the initial pick up. Carmen apologised and stated that she would send me a new parcel. I advised Carmen that I had purchased this item for my trip which was now in 10 days time and asked if there was a way to get the new item expressed shipping in hope it would arrive in time. Carmen posted me the replacement item with express shipment and I’m so appreciative that she did, as it arrived the day before my trip!
The packaging of the parcel was really pretty. I was really excited opening this parcel up and still use it to hold my bag in when I’m not using it.
The bag was the perfect size for my everyday essentials. I travelled through China with my mum and had everything that I needed in this bag. I was surprised by how much I could fit in this bag! I had my phone, portable charger, passport, cards, cash, hand sanitiser, tissues, lip balm and sunglasses.
The only downside for me (and this is my fault), I measured the straps incorrectly when I placed my order, and so I was unable to wear the bag as a cross body which I intended to do, however, I was still able to wear it around my waist and wear it like a bum bag/fanny pack, keeping my hands free.
When I went to Vietnam a few years ago, my phone was stolen from my bag and so I’ve been on a hunt to find a secure travel bag that also looks stylish, and so when I found Arden Cove, I was so excited about their range that I just had to buy something. This was my first purchase from Arden Cove and the relief of having the additional protection and security made my trip so carefree. This won’t be my last purchase. Thank you! 😁

Gorgeous! Perfect if you are looking for something very small and lightweight!
I absolutely love this bag! I don't really carry a lot of things so I tend to prefer smaller size bags, so this is a perfect size for me! I've purchased other "safe travel" type bags in the past, but they always are drab and feel like a dead giveaway that you are a traveler. This bag has a high end feel and look, but with the safety features that I look for in a travel bag. I'll be using it for an upcoming trip to Europe, but I'm also using as an everyday bag for running errands or going out with friends. I would definitely recommend this bag and will definitely be purchasing other bags (or this one in another color) in the near future!

I've been looking for an anti-theft bags that are fashionable and didn't think they existed. Somehow I discovered Arden Cove on YouTube. Decided to test drive the Crissy Mini Crossbody (love the gun metal hardware btw) for a Girls Race Weekend in Bermuda. When I travel without my family, I need something small, just enough for my phone, my very small travel wallet and lipstick. This fit the bill perfectly. Got a number of compliments from my friends, "That's cute!", "Where did you get that?". Will definitely use this when doing day trips to NYC, Concerts, etc. I am definitely considering getting the regular size Crissy for my family trip to Paris in April. Trying hard not to look like a typical tourist and the big girl Crissy looks like it would be perfect!

I love this Mini Crossbody! It's especially cute with the top handle and the chain strap makes it look really elegant. I can get everything in it that I need for an evening out, but you might have to start making them a tad wider to accommodate the larger modern phones. Love it, though!
Purchased this Crissy Mini as a wallet/convenient travel purse while in Alaska. I packed for a 5 day trip with only a backpack and this compact mini fit perfectly inside! It was the best wardrobe accessory also, and was perfect for carrying my AirPods, phone, mask, hand sanitizer, lipgloss, cards & cash!

I really love the design of the bag and I do feel it is well made. Unfortunately, the black on the strap of the bag comes off onto clothes. The shoulder of every shirt I have worn while using this bag now have black splotches all over them. For the price that I paid there should be no way that it is staining my clothing.

Hi Amy, I'm so sorry that your strap had bleeding issues - did you happen to go somewhere really hot or potentially get salt on it through salty air or sweat? Heat, salt, and other harsh conditions could make the edge paint and leather finishes to break down. Given the heat wave this year, we are unfortunately seeing higher numbers of these incidents.
Are you interested in swapping out your leather strap for our jacquard strap? There is definitely no bleeding that can occur with the woven nylon, and happy to get that going for you. Best, Carmen

I absolutely cannot thank this company enough. I purchased this purse just before my husband and I went to Rome, Italy. I truly believe that Arden Cove prevented my husband and I from getting pickpocketed on this trip. Two men approached us on a bridge while we were distracted by the sites - I admit, I'm sometimes too friendly for my own good, and before I knew it, one of the men placed a bracelet on my wrist. We knew something was up when he tried to do the same for my husband. The interaction only lasted about 15 seconds, and they quickly parted ways with us. When I looked down at my purse, I noticed that one of the men had tried to tug at the zipper, but my lobster-clasp held it in place. I'm so grateful that I was able to bring my Arden Cove purse on this trip. Our passports were in there that day, due to security requirements at the Coliseum. What a nightmare it would've been to have had our passports stolen! I have been, and will be, recommending Arden Cove to all my friends and family. It truly gave me a piece of mind while walking around in Rome, and did the job perfectly when we were at risk of getting pickpocketed. To everyone at Arden Cove: thank you so much!

Perfect size bag for my trip abroad. I was worried it would be too small but it is perfect for my phone, sunglasses, passport and a few essentials like lipstick and hand sanitizer. And super cute too!
My goal was to find a bag that was small and didn’t scream safety features. That way I could wear it whenever I need a small bag and not just traveling. This is the best out there. No one can tell it’s not just a regular bag. Two things that would make it even more perfect- no big logo (it’s overwhelming with the bag size) and an option to lock the zipper to the pouch and not just latching it. 5/5 stars!

Have only used this once for an evening out and it was perfect. Just the right size for a small evening bag. Looking forward to taking it on a 3 week trip to Europe. It fits inside a larger messenger bag (not Arden Cove) I’ll be traveling with so I can pull the Chrissy out and use it for different occasions when the messenger bag is too big and not stylish enough.

I purchased the Crissy Mini cream bag with wide faux leather 33"-59". I'm 5'3". I love this attractive bag! Having several larger anti-theft bags from companies like Pacsafe, I wanted a small lightweight anti -theft bag to carry essentials like credit cards, phone, passport, etc while traveling and riding the Metro in Mexico City. This is my 4th Arden Cove purchse - the Crissy Mini Crossbody with the jaquard slashproof strap. I love the exterior of the bag.
The lining on the interior could have been better. It has wrinkles and there is a small stain, maybe from the glue.
Not enough to return it, but a bit disappointing.

It's a beautiful bag. I loved that it was water proof. Just sized right for me. The padded interior takes up a lot of room and I wish I could get the same bag without the interior padded card slots etc. For someone else they might love those but I found they just took a lot of room where I would have loved to place my sunglasses. I also wish that the zipper was just a little longer allowing me to easily get my hand into the bag.

I love my Arden cove crossbody!! I was at a crowded bar and had my phone stolen from a small bag recently :/
I then found out about Arden cove and immediately ordered from them. I am going to be more vigilant and carry my bag in front of me from now on. My new Arden cove bag is beautifully made and will give me peace of mind with the zipper clasps. I also bought the phone tether and love that all the bags have a ring inside to attach the tether to. The bag was really nice. My only issue was that once it gets a Spain or becomes a little dirty it’s impossible to clean it. I wouldn’t recommend the light color one if you’re person that’s always using hands or touch your bag on a regular basis other than that, it was really good. I traveled to Italy

Ordered both the mini Chrissy and the regular size Chrissy for a European trip for my daughter and was pleasantly surprised at how well constructed the bags were. Ultimately, we decided to go with the regular Chrissy due to the size. Their customer service was fabulous with assisting me with my questions and concerns. I love having the multiple strap options.

Overall this is an amazing little bag. HOWEVER, I do think this size is just kind of useless. I can fit my phone in there and that’s about it (for reference I have an iPhone 16). I find myself really struggling to get even just a money clip or card holder in there let alone out of it with my phone in there and lol god forbid I add a small pair of sunglasses and my passport. It’s a shame I love a small purse and I got this for an upcoming trip to Europe but I feel like with how much I’ll be struggling to get things in an out it might defeat the purpose of laying low and avoiding pickpockets. 🫠

The Crissy Mini is the perfect size, and for travel where security is a concern, the best solution I could find. I actually returned another purchased purse after realizing that the Arden Cove products are superior, and even waterproof. This purse will bring style while also providing confidence.

I thought that my mini Chrissy would be too small when I first saw it, but it made me rethink what I really needed to be carrying. I now think that it’s the perfect size for me and I will be happy knowing my important things that I need are safe and secure.

I've been looking for an anti-theft bags that are fashionable and didn't think they existed. Somehow I discovered Arden Cove on YouTube. Decided to test drive the Crissy Mini Crossbody (love the gun metal hardware btw) for a Girls Race Weekend in Bermuda. When I travel without my family, I need something small, just enough for my phone, my very small travel wallet and lipstick. This fit the bill perfectly. Got a number of compliments from my friends, "That's cute!", "Where did you get that?". Will definitely use this when doing day trips to NYC, Concerts, etc. I am definitely considering getting the regular size Crissy for my family trip to Paris in April. Trying hard not to look like a typical tourist and the big girl Crissy looks like it would be perfect!

I bought my first Arden Cove bag--Crissy Mini Crossbody in black faux leather--to bring to the Ali Wong standup show in SF. I would describe my style as minimal/classic/tomboy and the Crissy fit me perfectly.
I love the variety of styles, colors and materials Arden Cove offers. The thoughtful, anti-theft design touches are a nice bonus. Also enjoy supporting a women owned business :)

I love this Mini Crossbody! It's especially cute with the top handle and the chain strap makes it look really elegant. I can get everything in it that I need for an evening out, but you might have to start making them a tad wider to accommodate the larger modern phones. Love it, though!
Purchased this Crissy Mini as a wallet/convenient travel purse while in Alaska. I packed for a 5 day trip with only a backpack and this compact mini fit perfectly inside! It was the best wardrobe accessory also, and was perfect for carrying my AirPods, phone, mask, hand sanitizer, lipgloss, cards & cash!

What a beautiful bag! I was worried about the small size but it actually fits everything I could need. I’m petite so I tend to opt for smaller bags. I’m very pleased with how lovely this bag is! Thank you for a quality bag that provides security.

I really love the design of the bag and I do feel it is well made. Unfortunately, the black on the strap of the bag comes off onto clothes. The shoulder of every shirt I have worn while using this bag now have black splotches all over them. For the price that I paid there should be no way that it is staining my clothing.

Hi Amy, I'm so sorry that your strap had bleeding issues - did you happen to go somewhere really hot or potentially get salt on it through salty air or sweat? Heat, salt, and other harsh conditions could make the edge paint and leather finishes to break down. Given the heat wave this year, we are unfortunately seeing higher numbers of these incidents.
Are you interested in swapping out your leather strap for our jacquard strap? There is definitely no bleeding that can occur with the woven nylon, and happy to get that going for you. Best, Carmen

I absolutely cannot thank this company enough. I purchased this purse just before my husband and I went to Rome, Italy. I truly believe that Arden Cove prevented my husband and I from getting pickpocketed on this trip. Two men approached us on a bridge while we were distracted by the sites - I admit, I'm sometimes too friendly for my own good, and before I knew it, one of the men placed a bracelet on my wrist. We knew something was up when he tried to do the same for my husband. The interaction only lasted about 15 seconds, and they quickly parted ways with us. When I looked down at my purse, I noticed that one of the men had tried to tug at the zipper, but my lobster-clasp held it in place. I'm so grateful that I was able to bring my Arden Cove purse on this trip. Our passports were in there that day, due to security requirements at the Coliseum. What a nightmare it would've been to have had our passports stolen! I have been, and will be, recommending Arden Cove to all my friends and family. It truly gave me a piece of mind while walking around in Rome, and did the job perfectly when we were at risk of getting pickpocketed. To everyone at Arden Cove: thank you so much!

Perfect size bag for my trip abroad. I was worried it would be too small but it is perfect for my phone, sunglasses, passport and a few essentials like lipstick and hand sanitizer. And super cute too!
My goal was to find a bag that was small and didn’t scream safety features. That way I could wear it whenever I need a small bag and not just traveling. This is the best out there. No one can tell it’s not just a regular bag. Two things that would make it even more perfect- no big logo (it’s overwhelming with the bag size) and an option to lock the zipper to the pouch and not just latching it. 5/5 stars!

Have only used this once for an evening out and it was perfect. Just the right size for a small evening bag. Looking forward to taking it on a 3 week trip to Europe. It fits inside a larger messenger bag (not Arden Cove) I’ll be traveling with so I can pull the Chrissy out and use it for different occasions when the messenger bag is too big and not stylish enough.

Such a cute bag, the perfect size. It will fit my phone, my sunglasses, lipstick, cash and a few credit cards. And it looks good. Now I know I need the larger size too . Because my larger travel purses are from another brand are really ugly 😂

I purchased the Crissy Mini cream bag with wide faux leather 33"-59". I'm 5'3". I love this attractive bag! Having several larger anti-theft bags from companies like Pacsafe, I wanted a small lightweight anti -theft bag to carry essentials like credit cards, phone, passport, etc while traveling and riding the Metro in Mexico City. (I'll also carry a few smaller items like lip balm, hand sanitizer, etc.) This bag meets all my security and attractive boxes.

This is my 4th Arden Cove purchse - the Crissy Mini Crossbody with the jaquard slashproof strap. I am going to Europe and a cruise in the spring and I wanted to purchase a selection of carry items - I have the backpack, marina grand for evening wear, full cross body. All are perfect for traveling, I chose black to blend in. Love them, all have locking clips, slashproof, water resistant, RFID blocking - well made and fashionable and something to wear for every occasion! I'm all set!

I love the exterior of the bag.
The lining on the interior could have been better. It has wrinkles and there is a small stain, maybe from the glue.
Not enough to return it, but a bit disappointing.

It's a beautiful bag. I loved that it was water proof. Just sized right for me. The padded interior takes up a lot of room and I wish I could get the same bag without the interior padded card slots etc. For someone else they might love those but I found they just took a lot of room where I would have loved to place my sunglasses. I also wish that the zipper was just a little longer allowing me to easily get my hand into the bag.

I love my Arden cove crossbody!! I was at a crowded bar and had my phone stolen from a small bag recently :/
I then found out about Arden cove and immediately ordered from them. I am going to be more vigilant and carry my bag in front of me from now on. My new Arden cove bag is beautifully made and will give me peace of mind with the zipper clasps. I also bought the phone tether and love that all the bags have a ring inside to attach the tether to. I took my arden cove bag out to a concert and felt much more secure. Overall, love their products and so thankful for a beautiful anti-theft bag with many security features! Thank you! 💕

The bag was really nice. My only issue was that once it gets a Spain or becomes a little dirty it’s impossible to clean it. I wouldn’t recommend the light color one if you’re person that’s always using hands or touch your bag on a regular basis other than that, it was really good. I traveled to Italy

Ordered both the mini Chrissy and the regular size Chrissy for a European trip for my daughter and was pleasantly surprised at how well constructed the bags were. Ultimately, we decided to go with the regular Chrissy due to the size. Their customer service was fabulous with assisting me with my questions and concerns. I love having the multiple strap options.

Overall this is an amazing little bag. HOWEVER, I do think this size is just kind of useless. I can fit my phone in there and that’s about it (for reference I have an iPhone 16). I find myself really struggling to get even just a money clip or card holder in there let alone out of it with my phone in there and lol god forbid I add a small pair of sunglasses and my passport. It’s a shame I love a small purse and I got this for an upcoming trip to Europe but I feel like with how much I’ll be struggling to get things in an out it might defeat the purpose of laying low and avoiding pickpockets. 🫠

The Crissy Mini is the perfect size, and for travel where security is a concern, the best solution I could find. I actually returned another purchased purse after realizing that the Arden Cove products are superior, and even waterproof. This purse will bring style while also providing confidence.

I thought that my mini Chrissy would be too small when I first saw it, but it made me rethink what I really needed to be carrying. I now think that it’s the perfect size for me and I will be happy knowing my important things that I need are safe and secure.

It's tiny, cute, and classy. Holds just enough of the essentials. I'll find out in a month if it really is waterproof. Zipper looks very secure/waterproof so I believe it will work out perfectly in the rain.
