’ve been using the Phone Tether every day since it arrived, and I absolutely love it. ❤️
I made one small modification to better fit my needs. I replaced the key ring with a small clasp, which lets me quickly attach and detach my phone and easily switch it between different bags. It works perfectly for everyday use.
The quality is excellent, it feels very secure, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing my phone is always safely attached. It’s a simple but incredibly useful accessory that I now use every day.

The metal hinge and hardware that go inside the phone case seem high quality and strong, and don’t cover the charging port. I’m very pleased with that. I haven’t used the tether yet to comment on the durability of the wire. I plan to use it with my Verona when traveling overseas.

I just got back from 3 weeks of travel and only 3 days into it did the steel wire break off and spring back inside the housing. When I tried to pull it out with tweezers, it just made it worse. I was really hoping this would work because I hate having to keep sipping and unzipping my purse to use my phone.
Tried emailing with the issue, and never got a response. Pretty bummed that it didn't do it's job.

Honestly got this to keep my phone secure at work. We use 2 factor authentication to get into every computer and each application so I have my phone with me all the time. It’s easy to set it down and walk away to answer questions or run to the restroom. (Or worse, fall out of your pocket while in the restroom!) The tether keeps it hooked to loops on my skirt/pants and then I slip it into a front pocket. No loops or pockets? That’s ok because the presence of the tether makes it hard to ignore or misplace. It takes getting used to when using the phone when you don’t need the tether but it’s worth the peace of mind for me. The nice clip on the end means I can attach it to any bag I currently use. Works great for me.

The part that you stick to your phone does not hold. Additionally, even if it did, it will block your charging port if used with a phone case - which almost everyone uses a case.

I had ChatGPT search the world for a phone lanyard. This is the only one it could find that was entirely metal. It cannot be cut off should someone want to steal my phone. All of the others had fabric connections in at least one place. Thanks Arden Cove for making it and making it beautiful as well.
I’m planning to attach the phone tether to my RFID phone case while traveling in Europe. I’ve been using it for a few days , attached to a belt, belt loop, or purse loop, and it works great! No more leaving my phone “somewhere” in the house and searching for it, because it’s right in my pocket . Such a good idea,; now my sister wants one for her upcoming trip!
This cable looks wonderful, stylish and very well made.
It tethers the ohone well, (even with a case), as it comes with the connected insert.
However, the reason for the three stars is that despite the quality of the product, it may be a tad too big. It takes up a certain amount of space in the purse and 'interferes' a bit in terms of space (placing the phone in the purse).
I decided not to use this cable at the moment.
Perhaps it needs to be slightly slimmer (the mechanism that houses the cable inside). That way, there will be less impedance in the purse when placing the phone with cable in it.
Easy to install and attach to a bag or strap. However not all charger cables are able to access the phone port with this in place. My usual charging cable fits past the tether loop but my car charger which interfaces with my Bluetooth map program cannot be used when this tether is inserted into my phone case.

I used the theft deterrent strap on an existing phone case. Perfect for having my phone available for photos in Rome and Istanbul and not having to worry about getting the strap cut and losing my phone.

Good idea, strange design choices. The cable doesn't have much retraction power, so your phone dangles below the tether instead of being pulled flush with it. And you connect your phone to the tether with a key ring, which is challenging to pull apart and attach. Overall, not very user friendly.

The retraction should be strong enough to keep your phone in place wherever you have it pulled out, and should stay retracted if originally retracted. We also have the phone side attached to the key ring so it is more secure - thieves won't be able to easily unclasp it and take off with your phone. If you do want to make it easier, you can always flip the tether so the phone connects with the clasp. I'll stew on your feedback and will think of ways to make this a bit easier! Best, Carmen

I did not use it on my recent trip. The gold hook (carabiner) is too thick to insert in any of my purse's rings, in any possible places I can latch it to.
It's also funny, now that I look at your photo of someone using it; the purse is wide open as she's using the phone. That defeats the purpose of having all the anti-theft features you have on your purse.

It is great— can clip it easily to a round ring on the inside of my Travelon crossbody bag or can clip it to a little metal ring on the outside zipper of the bag. Either way it keeps my phone more secure., less likely to be stolen by a pick-pocketer and less likely for it to be misplaced. I like the way the wire extends quite a ways so that I can take photos while it’s still clipped on the ring inside my bag. have it clipped onto my Crossbody bag. And even when I have my cell loose ( not clipped in), the carabiner does not get in the way of anything, including charging my cell. It is a fantastic product!

I purchased the phone tether for my first trip to Europe. It gave me such peace of mind, as I often leave my phone behind when moving from place to place. Its clip can be attached to a belt loop or purse strap. In addition to feeling more secure from theft, the tether makes it easy to find the phone in my travel bag full of pockets. The phone tether is light but strong, and its steel cable retracts into its reel, so there is never a problem with tangling or the line hanging out. It is convenient and simple to use, meaning that I actually do use it all the time. Traveling without it now seems unsafe! I also love the cherry blossoms design.

The retraction should be strong enough to keep your phone in place wherever you have it pulled out, and should stay retracted if originally retracted. We also have the phone side attached to the key ring so it is more secure - thieves won't be able to easily unclasp it and take off with your phone. If you do want to make it easier, you can always flip the tether so the phone connects with the clasp. I'll stew on your feedback and will think of ways to make this a bit easier! Best, Carmen
I cannot connect my charging cable with the hook out the same hole in my phone case.

I did not use it on my recent trip. The gold hook (carabiner) is too thick to insert in any of my purse's rings, in any possible places I can latch it to.
It's also funny, now that I look at your photo of someone using it; the purse is wide open as she's using the phone. That defeats the purpose of having all the anti-theft features you have on your purse.

For the bumbag in the photo, we left the bag open to show you can attach it to the d-rings inside, and you can still close the zipper to keep things more secure, and have the phone outside for accessibility. If there is perhaps a design change we should do to accomodate more ways to attach to things, we'd love to understand more and make that change! We are working on a new version right now. It is great— can clip it easily to a round ring on the inside of my Travelon crossbody bag or can clip it to a little metal ring on the outside zipper of the bag. Either way it keeps my phone more secure., less likely to be stolen by a pick-pocketer and less likely for it to be misplaced. I like the way the wire extends quite a ways so that I can take photos while it’s still clipped on the ring inside my bag. have it clipped onto my Crossbody bag. And even when I have my cell loose ( not clipped in), the carabiner does not get in the way of anything, including charging my cell. It is a fantastic product!

I purchased the phone tether for my first trip to Europe. It gave me such peace of mind, as I often leave my phone behind when moving from place to place. Its clip can be attached to a belt loop or purse strap. In addition to feeling more secure from theft, the tether makes it easy to find the phone in my travel bag full of pockets. The phone tether is light but strong, and its steel cable retracts into its reel, so there is never a problem with tangling or the line hanging out. It is convenient and simple to use, meaning that I actually do use it all the time. Traveling without it now seems unsafe! I also love the cherry blossoms design.

I bought one for my husband also and he will use it to tether his phone to his belt loop. He’s a NASA aerospace engineer and was impressed with the design of this tether and prefers it greatly over the cheap Amazon tether we used on our last trip.
